What's new?

• New Connection Interfaces Types

There are nine new Connection Interfaces Types contracts and output available.

• You can now use new technologies in a Plugin: You can now use 24 new technologies in a plugin.yaml. You can see all of it in the list.

• New rules and possibilities to apply Plugin There are new plugin.yaml attributes. See what you can do with each:

1. You can apply a Plugin once in an Application or Infrastructure.
2. You can use a Plugin in projects already created with StackSpot.
3. Choose if another will require a Plugin.

• New self-hosted Runtime.

Changes

• Fixes on the containsAnycondition in the plugin.yaml input: [see more details].
• Updates in the create app e infra command. There are new interactive modes, and you can choose the Stack version with the - - starter, -s option.
• New single-use option for the plugin.yaml. It allows limit when applying a Plugin in an Application or Infrastructure.
• New Jinja filters: regex_replace e from_json.
• Added new MacOS installation warning.
• Added new Plugin dependency with the new semantic version with range in required Plugins.
• Action review on the SCM setup and new GitLab provider.
• Fix on the inputs-envs field. It was updated with new schema.

• New Insights Dashboard in the Studio

The Insights Dashboard offers a way to add or remove panels. You can also check graphs of entities such as Plugins and Stacks.

• Stacks Semantic Versioning

Stack versioning is now semantic, the versions can evolve alone. See more details on the Stack Versioning page.

• New Runtime Engine architecture

The new architecture is an easier way to deploy, destroy, and rollback Applications and Infrastructures.

• New Plugin Version
  In the Plugin v2, you can:

• Use more than one Connection Interface of the same type.

• Implement an Alias for Connection Interfaces and more.

• Creation of app.yaml
  Also in v2 of the Plugins, there is now a new yaml file: app.yaml.

• [Creation of infra.yaml and app.yaml] Another yaml file has also been created: infra.yaml.

• New attributes in plugin.yaml . With Plugin Deployment in v2, new attributes have been added to plugin.yaml.

• Create Dynamic Links
  Content creators can generate links that adjust to the current parameters of the application.

• Create a feature to manage links in Applications and Infrastructures
  You can integrate external tools in your Application or Infrastructure via Links. It can be static or embedded.

• New way to create Applications and Infrastructure on StackSpot Platform.

• Service Catalog: A guided onboarding on the Partner access

Partners can check a guide with the available sections in the Service Catalog.

• Updates on the STK CLI commands page. Improvements on the commands page. The command descriptions are up to date with the new platform changes.
