Visibility Management
In this section, you will find details on managing your Studio's visibility.
It is possible to change the Studio visibility before and after creating it. The Studio creator and the Admin are the only ones with permission to change visibility.
Visibility options
The available Visibilities options are:
- Restricted Access: Studio creator and Team members access;
- All Account: Everyone in the Organization can use the Studio;
- Predefined Workspaces: Only Workspaces selected by the Studio Creator can view it.
General rules
-
Changing the visibility of a Studio that has already been created: No other users should be using this Studio, and it cannot rely on the content of another Studio, such as a Plugin.
-
View: Users of an Account can view all Studios except those with Restricted Access visibility. Studios are only available to the Team that created them in such cases.
-
Limited access for content creators: If users do not have permission to view a Studio, they can still view the content within the Studio.
-
A user with content creator access will only have access to a Studio with a visibility type of 'Predefined Workspaces' if they belong to the Team that created that Studio.
-
If a Studio has Stacks used by other Workspaces, its visibility cannot be changed. For example, if a Studio is set to All Account visibility, it can be modified to Selected Workspaces. However, the Workspace that utilizes the Stack will be automatically selected and cannot be removed from the Organization.
A Studio can revert to Restricted Access if no Workspaces or Studios use its available content.
Visibility type rules
All Account
Content created in one Studio can be used in any other Studio, provided they are under the same Account.
If you are using a Studio with All Account visibility, you cannot change the Studio's visibility to Restricted Access.
Restricted Access
Only the creator and members of the Studio can view it. They can view all content but are not allowed to use it in a Workspace.
Predefined Workspaces
Content from the Studio can only be used in designated Workspaces selected by the Studio Creator. Other Studios cannot utilize the content created by this Studio, and you cannot delete a Workspace that is currently in use.
How to change the visibility

Step 1. On the left side menu, click on 'Settings' in the bottom left corner of the screen. Click on the 'Visibility' button and see the current visibility of the Studio and the rules;

To confirm your choice, click the 'Yes, change visibility' button.
Done! You have changed the visibility of your Studio.
