Partners Registration
In this section, you will find how to register a partner in the Service Catalog.
Prerequisite
You can invite companies to become your partners. They will be able to create a limited account associated with your Enterprise account and access your Service Catalog in StackSpot. Each Enterprise account can invite up to 10 partner companies.
Partners in your account have two types of permissions:
- Admin: Can invite other members to the account and use the available products.
- Member: Can only use the products.
The first person you invite as a partner will become the account’s Admin.
To register and invite your partners, follow these steps:
Step 1. Log in to your StackSpot Platform account. In the left-side menu, go to 'Settings' and click on 'Partners';
Step 2. Click the 'Register partners' button;
Step 3. Fill out the information in the upper tabs:
-
Partner info: Add your partner’s name and logo, then click 'Next step'.
-
In the Register Domain tab, enter your partner’s domain(s):
- Example: your-name@your-partner-email.com
- You can add one or more domains.
dangerAt this stage, add all the domains the Partner Account will use. Invitations can only be sent to members with registered domains.
-
In 'Partner account administrator': Add the account administrator who will receive the first email invitation. Provide:
- First Name
- Surname
-
Review all information and click 'Add Partner';
Step 4. Click 'Add Products' and select the products you want to make available to your partner;
Step 5. Next, click 'Add APIs' and choose which APIs and Environments will be available.
Your partner will now receive an email invitation to access the platform. They must accept the invitation to access the Service Catalog.
After registering a partner, you need to link the Products and APIs that the partner will be able to access. Learn how in this tutorial.
