Create and Publish a Product
In this section, you will learn how to create and publish a product on the StackSpot platform.
Organize and group your published APIs by creating a Product. A Product makes it easier to integrate APIs into your partners' applications.
Go to your Workspace Dashboard and follow the steps below:
Step 1. Access the 'Products' subsection and click 'Create Product';
Step 2. Under 'Basic Information', complete the following fields:
- Name: Enter a name for your Product.
- Description: Provide a brief description of your Product.
- Logo: (Optional)
Click 'Next Step' to continue;
Step 3. On the 'Add APIs' screen, click 'Add APIs' and select the APIs you want to include in your Product;
Step 4. Add the environments in which you want to associate the APIs;
Step 5. Review the information and click 'Create Product';
To publish the Product, click 'Publish Product'.
Your Product has now been published in the Catalog. You can add more APIs to your Product at any time.
Unpublish or remove an API or Product
You can remove one or more APIs from your Product after it has been published. To do so, follow these steps:
Step 1. Click the 'More Options' button next to the API you want to remove, then click 'Unpublish';
Step 2. To confirm the removal, click 'Confirm Removal';
To remove a published Product, click the 'Unpublish' button, then click 'Unpublish Product' to confirm.
