Create and Publish a Product
In this section, you will learn how to create and publish a product on the StackSpot platform.
Organize and group your published APIs by creating a Product. A product makes it easy for you to integrate APIs into your Partners' applications.
Go to your Workspace Dashboard and follow the steps below:
Step 1. Access the 'Products' subsection and click on 'Create Product';
Step 2. Under 'Basic Information', fill in the following fields:
- Name: Name your Product.
- Description: Describe what your Product is about.
- Logo (optional)
Then click on 'Next Step'.
Step 3. On the 'Add APIs' screen, click on 'Add APIs' and add the APIs you want to your Product.
Step 4. Add the environments where you want to associate the APIs;
Step 5. Review the information and click on 'Create Product'.
To publish the Product, click on 'Publish Product'.
You have published a Product in the Catalog. You can add more APIs to your Product now.
Unpublish an API or Product
You can remove one or more APIs from your Product after publication. To do so, follow the steps below:
Step 1. Click on the *'More Options' button next to the API you want to remove. Then click on the 'Unpublish' button;
Step 2. To confirm the API removal, click on 'Confirm Removal';
To remove a published Product, click the 'Unpublish' button; then click 'Unpublish Product'.
