Manage Account Variables
In this section, you will find a guide on how to edit and delete variables.
How to Edit Account Variables
You can edit Account Variables in two ways:

Directly in the Variables section within the Account menu. In this case, you will edit the Variable for the entire Account;

If the Variableās value is not mandatory at the Account level, it can be edited by the Workspace Admin who receives it to configure Contexts or customize it according to their Workspace.
Note: In this section, you will learn how to edit a Variable you created within the Account.
Requirements
- You must have Account Holder or Account Admin permission to proceed.
- You must be the creator of the Variable;
Step-by-step
Step 1. Go directly to the Account Portal; or after logging into the StackSpot Portal, click on your profile avatar.
Step 2. Click the 'Organization' option;
Step 3. In 'EDP' section, click on 'Variables';
Step 4. Select the Variable you want to edit;
Step 5. Click the edit button and make the necessary changes;
The name of Variables cannot be edited. The information you can edit is as follows:
- Value;
- Set whether the Variableās value is mandatory or not;
- Description.
If you want to change the Variableās name, the recommended approach is to delete the Variable with the incorrect name and create a new one.
Step 6. Click 'Save changes'.
How to Delete Account Variables
Requirements
- You must have Account Holder or Account Admin permission to proceed.
- You must have permission to delete Variables;
Step-by-step
Step 1. Go directly to the Account Portal; or after logging into the StackSpot Portal, click on your profile avatar.
Step 2. Click the 'Organization' option;
Step 3. In 'EDP' section, click on 'Variables';
Step 4. Scroll or use the filter search to look for the Variable you want to delete;
Step 5. Confirm the action by typing "DELETE". Then, click the 'Delete Variable'.
You've deleted your Variable.
